The third and final ‘real’ weekend of end-of-year Test action will take place between Friday and Sunday this week/weekend with no fewer than eight matches scheduled.

From a South African point of view, the pick of the Tests is the one between the Springboks and Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.

Honorable mention for Sunday’s clash between Scotland and Australia.

Saturday’s match will South Africa’s third and final fixture on their end-of-year tour.

Rassie Erasmus’s side opened their tour with a 32-15 win over Scotland at Murrayfield in Edinburgh and then saw off England 29-20 at the Allianz Stadium in London last weekend,
