Last weekend saw the last full round of Test rugby in November, with most teams having brought an end to their international seasons, but there is one more exciting fixture that kicks off this Saturday.

The clash between Ireland and Australia will be the only international game this weekend, and it will at least provide something for rugby fans to look forward at the end of the season.

Kick off for Saturday’s Test in Dublin is at 17:10 (SA time).

The match will see former Ireland coach Joe Schmidt go up against his former assistant Andy Farrell, who will lead the British & Irish Lions in Australia next year.

“I really do believe in this group, and I think they’re starting to believe in themselves. I don’t think necessarily that they did initially,” Schmidt said.

“It’ll be a nice week to get back (to Dublin), but there’s only one game in town, and that’s all about the footy and in trying to help these guys prepare as best they can.”

The Wallabies will be without lock Will Skelton for the last leg of the tour as the match falls outside the international window.
