The Cheetahs will be without veteran Springbok forward Oupa Mohoje for their battle with Zebre Parma in round 3 of the EPCR Challenge Cup on Sunday.
Mohoje, who played the last of his 19 Tests in 2018, hurt his shoulder in a 26-10 defeat to Cardiff at Cardiff Arms Park on 15 December, and has been excluded from a 27-man Cheetahs touring squad to Amsterdam.
Also not available for the NRCA Stadium clash due to injury are flanker Gideon van der Merwe (ankle), outside back James Verity-Amm (knee), lock Carl Wegner (finger) and props Banele Mthenjane (hamstring), Cameron Dawson and Robert Hunt (both calf).
