The Vodacom Bulls have announced the contract extension of one of South African rugby's promising young forwards for the foreseeable future.

"Home is where the heart is," said Corne Beets, who has signed a new two-year deal with the Pretoria outfit. The Junior Springbok Player of the Year will remain at Loftus Versfeld until 2026.

"The Bulls are the most successful South African franchise," the 21-year-old added. "Who wouldn't want to be part of a team with such a rich history?

"What I enjoy most is the culture we've built here. It's about more than just winning; it's about fostering an environment where everyone pushes each other to be their best.

"We're all working toward the same goal, not just personal success but achieving something remarkable as a team."

The bulldozing Beets says the next few years are all about helping the Herd achieve success and become a feature in the team.

"Over the next few years, my goal is to do whatever it takes to help the team win more trophies and bring fresh and new memories for this incredible club and its support base," he said.

"I'm determined to be a key part of the team's journey … helping to build a legacy that the fans can be proud of.

"Together, I believe we have the potential to achieve something truly special, and I'm excited to play my part in writing the next chapter of this storied franchise."
