The Lions have secured the services of another front-rower for the foreseeable future.
Tighthead prop Asenathi Ntlabakanye last week agreed to a two-year contract extension and now hooker PJ ‘Bere’ Botha has decided to stay in Johannesburg until at least 2028.
The Lions have also retained No 8 Francke Horn and centre Henco van Wyk as they look to build on a 2024-25 season that could culminate in a first-ever appearance in the Vodacom URC playoffs.
Botha, the son of former Bok prop BJ, has played in seven URC and three Challenge Cup matches this season.
Since making his debut in 2019, the 27-year-old has earned 92 caps across all competitions for the Pride.
