Bulls winger Kurt-Lee Arendse could reportedly miss the end of the Vodacom URC season due to his commitments with Japanese club Mitsubishi Dynaboars.
According to Sport24, Arendse, who joined the Dynaboars on a sabbatical deal, may not return in time for the URC registration deadline on 30 April.
Bulls CEO Edgar Rathbone explained the situation: "Whether he'll be back depends on how his Japanese team performs. If they're in the playoffs or battling relegation, he won't return.

"To be fair, Kurt-Lee hasn't had a break in 18 months, and he probably deserves one."
Arendse's sabbatical was part of his four-year contract extension signed in 2023. Rathbone noted, "This deal is life-changing for him. We can't be selfish – it's about making a real impact on his life."
While the Springbok flyer's absence will impact the Bulls, Rathbone believes retaining him long-term outweighs short-term losses. "If it keeps him with the Bulls longer, that's a win," he added.
