2024 Boks: Pocket rockets blast Ireland
Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe both dotted down to help the Springboks claim first blood in their July series opener against Ireland at a sold-out Loftus Versfeld.
In their first home game of the year, the Springboks produced a dominant performance to beat Ireland 27-20, banishing the ghosts of their 2023 World Cup pool defeat to Andy Farrell’s side.
Arendse opened the scoring with a well-worked try as early as the third minute, while Kolbe showed excellent anticipation to grab an opportunistic second-half try.
