Check out the latest in our Introducing the Academy series as we catch up with 20-year-old hooker Danny Sheahan.
Sheahan started his rugby journey at Cork Constitution at the age of five, playing there until he was 13. He lined out for PBC for six years, helping them win the 2022 Pinergy Munster Schools Boys Senior Cup.
He played for UCC for a year, before returning to Cork Constitution, winning the Division 1A title of the Energia Men's All Ireland League last season.
He has played for the Ireland U20s in both the 2023 and 2024 Six Nations, and featured in the 2023 and 2024 World Cup squads.
Sheahan made his competitive debut for Munster against Dragons this season in Round 10 of the URC.
