Munster set to earn significant fee as Antoine Frisch agrees exit

Antoine Frisch is set to leave Munster at the end of the season with the province set to be paid a significant fee for his services.

The centre is contracted with Munster until the end of the 2024/25 season but following his decision to declare for France, a move has been in the works for several weeks.

Having been largely overlooked by Ireland, only being called up once for their Emergings side during their tour of South Africa, Frisch was called up to France's training squad by head coach Fabien Galthié ahead of their finale against England back in March but wasn’t capped.

According to French publication L'Equipe, Toulon and Munster have come to an agreement to release Frisch from the final season of his contract with the southern province, with the reigning URC champions set to receive financial compensation for his services (reportedly in the region of €300,000).

France are set to tour Argentina this summer with Frisch expected to make his debut for Les Blues.
