VIDEO: Harold Vorster might not be the first name on fans' lips if they're asked to highlight a star in the Bulls' backline.
However, the 31-year-old centre has been at the heart of many an eye-catching piece of attacking play by the Bulls backline.
A fortnight ago he made his 50th United Rugby Championship appearance for the Bulls against his former team, the Lions at Ellis Park.
The Bulls' Director of Rugby Jake White has called him 'the voice of the backline' indicating his strength is that defensively and in attack he's got a great way of communicating with the players around him.
He joined the Bulls in 2021 after playing in Japan for two years where he was coached by legendary Crusaders coach Robbie Deans at the Wild Knights and it was clear that he had added a few more arrows to his quiver.
He represented the Lions 70 times and was part of the squad that took them to three Super Rugby Finals before making the move to Japan. Vorster also played in 2017 for the South African 'A' side against the French Barbarians.
White made the statement that Vorster is not just a basher, but that he can pass, understands space, and also has a kicking boot.

Now, at 31 years old, the seasoned centre plays a vital role for the Bulls, no matter who he combines with in midfield.
Reflecting on his milestone last weekend, Vorster smiled when asked how it felt to achieve it at Ellis Park, a place he knows well.
"It was special. I've got special memories [from my time] at the Lions and building special memories here at the Bulls."
Vorster addressed the media on Tuesday ahead of the big derby against the Stormers this weekend, saying a derby between South African sides is always tough.

"Every derby game is a big one, so I don't think there is extra motivation needed.
"The Stormers are a very good side. I think you can expect anything from them - obviously physicality.
"But any special plays or tricks, they will bring it - ja, you have to be awake."
Vorster also mentioned the role of veteran Springbok Willie le Roux, who came on against the Lions and had an immediate influence on the outcome of the game.
"We've got a good bunch of tens here at the Bulls, we are privileged for that.
"Against the Lions, Willie came off the bench and made a huge impact. He has a good kicking game and he likes to run with the ball so he made a huge impact.
