STAT ATTACK: Centre Sonny Bill Williams became an instant XV's fan favourite for his trademark offloading ability when he converted from rugby league to union back in 2008, but Springbok RG Snyman's ability to do the same as a forward has caught the eye in recent years.

Williams won back-to-back World Cups with the All Blacks - with his ability to draw defenders and get the ball away with one hand had fans oozing with admiration.

Now there is another player who might not be as fast as Williams, but his skill set might be right up there with the 58-time capped All Black.

Fellow double world champion RG Snyman caught the eye since making his Super Rugby debut for the Bulls in 2015.

His ability to play the offloading game with his 2.06-metre frame, keeping the ball in the air with one hand before offloading while defenders latch on him to try and bring him down, he's become a game-changer for the modern day lock.

His URC offloading stats prove that he is one of the best in the business and a headache for opposition players trying to contain him.

In Round 10 of the United Rugby Championship Snyman topped the offloads completed charts with six in total against the Stormers at Lansdowne Road Stadium on Saturday evening.

He is also the top offloading player in the 2024/5 URC season with 23 in total, with Munster's Tom Farrell behind him with 19 and Stormers fullback Warrick Gelant in third place with 17.
