Team News | Munster A Side To Face Ulster A In Nenagh

The Munster A team has been named for Friday's Interprovincial Championship clash against Ulster A at New Ormond Park (3pm, free entry).

Jack Daly captains the side and is one of six senior players involved as Liam Coombes, Conor Bartley, Eoghan Clarke and Brian Gleeson also start with Scott Buckley among the replacements.

Nine Academy players are involved as Ben O'Connor, Gene O'Leary Kareem, Dylan Hicks and Jack Oliver start in the backline with Ronan Foxe and Seán Edogbo in the pack. George Hadden, Jake O'Riordan and Danny Sheahan are among the replacements.

The 25-man squad includes 11 club players from across the province.

O'Connor, Coombes and Young Munster's Hubert Gilvarry start together in the back three with Coombes making a welcome return from injury.

Cork Constitution's Eoghan Smyth and O'Leary Kareem continue their centre partnership.

Academy duo Oliver and Hicks start together in the half-backs.

Recent signing Bartley, Clarke and Foxe pack down in the front row.

Highfield lock Conor Kennelly, who came up through the ranks at CBC, and UCC's Conor Ryan start together in the engine room.

Edogbo, Daly and Gleeson complete the side.

Club players Emmet Calvey (Shannon RFC), Jack Kelleher (Cork Constitution FC), Oisín Minogue (Shannon RFC), Tom Wood (Garryowen FC), Oisín Pepper (Young Munster RFC) and Harry Murphy (UCC RFC) are among the replacements.
