Press Pass | Munster v Edinburgh

Hear from Munster’s Defence Coach Denis Leamy and prop John Ryan ahead of Friday’s Round 12 United Rugby Championship fixture.
Leamy covers contract renewals, reflects on the season so far and the threat Edinburgh pose. He said looking ahead at the rest of the season,
“We want to get a home quarter final, we set high standards for ourselves, it's a tough league, it's very competitive and every game is a battle. We have gone well over the last couple of weeks and put ourselves back into fifth place.
“It was difficult against Scarlets but the amount of energy we put in eventually told in the second half. The run in now will be difficult but it is about racking up as many points as we can, and it starts with this weekend against Edinburgh.”
Ryan speaks about his recent contract renewal and what to expect from Munster’s opposition.
“They are quite an abrasive side, a set piece orientated side. I am looking forward to it really as it will be a big set piece battle and that is something I really look forward to as a tighthead.”
Munster will face Edinburgh in Virgin Media Park with a 7.35pm kick-off.
