Munster fell to a 7-28 defeat to Leinster on Friday in a highly physical encounter at Thomond Park.

Leinster went into a 0-14 half-time lead thanks to tries from Luke McGrath and Sam Prendergast before Munster fought back with a second-half try from Tom Ahern.

However, Leinster pushed on in the remainder of the half with tries from Josh van der Flier and Caelan Doris to secure the win.
