Simon Zebo identifies potential Lions bolter in Munster win over Connacht

Bolter.
Former Ireland international Simon Zebo was on punditry duty for Connacht vs Munster at MacHale Park yesterday, and he had some interesting observations ahead of this summer’s British and Irish Lions tour of Australia.
Craig Casey made a miraculous return to action in the game, way ahead of schedule, after undergoing knee surgery just three months ago – and he starred as Munster came away from Mayo with a huge bonus-point win.
The scrum-half showed absolutely zero signs of rustiness, controlling the game from the opening minute, putting in one of his best performances in a Munster jersey to date.
And Zebo reckons Casey could be a bolter for the Lions this summer if he keeps it up.
"These are the things you need to do while you're playing away, putting the pressure on," Zebo said.
"Craig here, this is the pass of the match [for Crowley’s try].
"This is frightening ability. Craig, for me, that performance, he's probably in with a shot of going with the Lions to Australia.
"Both the half-backs were outstanding today. Without them, Connacht may well have pinched that away from Munster."
