The Sharks have confirmed that loosehead prop Ox Nche has extended his stay in Durban by signing a new long-term contract.
A 39-Test Springbok world champion, the 29-year-old from Bloemfontein has signed on at Kings Park until 2028.
Nche, who famously dismantled the English scrum at the World Cup last year, initially joined the Sharks in the 2020 season from the Cheetahs and has become a pivotal member of the first team since arriving at the Shark Tank.

He has formed a formidable front row with fellow Boks Bongi Mbonambi, Vincent Koch and Trevor Nyakane, and has featured prominently in the Vodacom URC and Investec Champions Cup this season.
His contract extension comes after previous reports linking the former Shimlas powerhouse with a move to a French club next season.
