NEWS: Fijian Drua prop Mesake Doge has been cited for dangerous play in a ruck following his side's 15-52 defeat to the Western Force at Perth Rectangular Stadium on Sunday.

The incident occurred in the final minute of the game, with Doge entering a ruck and making heavy contact with Force captain Jeremy Williams.

While not penalised by referee Nic Berry at the time, the Citing Commissioner subsequently deemed the incident met the red card threshold for foul play.

The matter will be considered in the first instance by the Super Rugby Pacific Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Tuesday, March 25.

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, Doge must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the FPRC.
