Six Nations fans were left shocked when Blair Kinghorn vomited on the pitch in Scotland’s win over Wales.

Kinghorn scored two tries for the Scots in a 35-29 victory that dealt their opponents a 16th consecutive Test defeat.

During the second half at Murrayfield Stadium, the fullback crouched down as he appeared to have taken a knock.

The television camera was initially positioned behind Kinghorn before facing the opposite direction and catching him vomiting.

It was only broadcast for around two seconds, but that was long enough for fans to notice and express their disgust on social media.

“Nahhh they did not have to show Blair Kinghorn being sick on the pitch,” said one on X.

In response, another added: “I wasn't sure if I saw that correctly or not. They definitely showed him sick!”

“Just sat down for some curry, look on the TV and see Blair Kinghorn blowing chunks…food can wait until later,” said a third.

Speaking to the BBC about being sick, Kinghorn said: “I didn’t realise I was on the big screen. I’m sure that’ll pop up in the coming days.

“I just want to thank the fans again, they’ve been awesome in this campaign.

“It’s going to be a massive game over there [against France], they’ll be going for the championship. We’ll look to spoil the party.”

Kinghorn scored the opening try after six minutes before Tom Jordan extended Scotland’s lead just moments later.

Darcy Graham also got in on the act before a second Jordan try gave Gregor Townsend’s side a 28-8 lead at the break.

Kinghorn completed the scoring for Scotland with his second try of the day before Wales attempted a second half comeback.

They could only reduce the deficit to six points though and ensure their winless Six Nations run continues.

Scotland on the other hand are third in the table and a point above England, who face Italy on Sunday.

The Scots face Six Nations leaders France in their final match next weekend, with Les Bleus eyeing their next title after 2022 success.
