Sharks loan Stormers hooker

A veteran in the Stormers pack has officially joined the Sharks on a short-term loan deal to provide cover at hooker.
Scarra Ntubeni was filmed arriving at training in Durban to a rousing reception from his new teammates, including former Stormers skipper and close friend, Siya Kolisi.

The 34-year-old Ntubeni, who has been battling several niggling injuries, has not featured for the Stormers this season and made just five appearances for the franchise last term.
He has made 101 appearances since his 2011 debut for the Cape outfit, and featured in their Vodacom URC-title-winning campaign in 2022. The one-Test Springbok has also won three Currie Cup titles with Western Province (2012, 2014 and 2017).
