With the URC now well underway and some big home matches to look forward to against the likes of Glasgow Warriors, Munster in October and the DHL Stormers November, we wanted to share a few exciting and important updates for the coming season.

At the heart of these changes is a commitment to elevating the fan experience and reinvigorating attendance and atmosphere at Hollywoodbets Kings Park.

Adding Value for All Fans

This year, fans can look forward to –

A new 'Big Screen', DJ stage and investments in Matchday experience from fireworks to entertainment.

On the Outer-Fields, a be big-stage concert series will be paired with our most high-profile games, featuring some of South Africa’s most popular artists, including the likes ofMafikizolo, Good Luck, and Shekinah.

Beyond entertainment, there are investments being made in providing a higher-value fan experience through improved security, enhancing the quality and quantity of restrooms, and introducing a new Stewarding Program.

To add value to fans, we will also be launching –

The Party Stand – Designed for vibrant and younger fans looking for value, this new offering includes a ticket, a beer, and a boerie roll for just R100. Note – This area is not available for fans under the age of 18.

'Early Bird' Discount – For our biggest games of the year (excluding Sharks Fest), we will offer 25% off all tickets for the first 4,000 sold.

Updated Ticket Pricing for 24/25 Season

Following a reduction in ticket prices for the 23/24 season, ticket prices have been increasedfor the coming season.

Some background to these changes –

Ticket prices for the 2023/24 season were significantly reduced across all areas of the stadium except for Western Lower, and Parking, with the majority of prices reduced from R130 to R50. This decision was made in response to the challenging economic climate caused by the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with rising interest rates. We understood that many of our fans were feeling the pinch and wanted to make attending matches more affordable, while encouraging a return to the stadium.

Looking ahead, we have refined our pricing strategy based on the specific value and positioning of each seating area. This means that, rather than most tickets being the same price, there are now options for all our fans, with ticket prices ranging from R60 to R250.This pricing model is in line with the standards across major stadiums in South Africa and our pricing is now competitive with teams like the Bulls and Lions, and more affordable than the Stormers.

Much to look forward to

With recent success in the EPCR Challenge Cup and Currie Cup, welcoming back the Investec Champions Cup and an exciting squad of up-and-coming talent, homegrown stars and multiple World Cup winning Bok, there is much to look forward to as we tackle this new season.

We look forward to welcoming you back!
