The Daily Telegraph's David Riccio joined Breakfast with Vossy & Brandy to give his thoughts on the Sharks side heading in to their preliminary final against the Panthers Saturday night.

Riccio discusses the make-up of the Sharks' centre line up as questions surround Jesse Ramien following an ankle injury which ruled him out of finals week 1 against the Melbourne Storm.

The week off allowed him time to recuperate for last week's match against the Cowboys, where he assisted in the Sharks ultimate victory.

"He's doing everything possible to get on the field," Riccio told Breakfast with Vossy & Brandy.

Despite this, this week's game will see a very tight turn around and with rumours surfacing that the Cronulla centre was seen in a moonboot this past week, it is unlikely he will be eligible.

"I think he's long odds," he adds.

Riccio expects to see Siosifa Talakai step in as his replacement.

The other concern for the Sharks side is Kayal Iro, who has faced a bicep issue, although Riccio is confident this should not impact his ability to play.

"I'm pretty positive, I think Iro plays."

The decider match with the Penrith Panthers will take place on Saturday the 28th September at 7:50pm.
