LISTEN | Nikorima close to contract extension with Dolphins

Veteran Dolphins playmaker Kodi Nikorima has announced on SEN that he is close to signing a contract extension at the club.

The 30-year-old journeyman has represented four different clubs since his debut in 2014 and is nearing the 200-game milestone.

Nikorima is arguably in career-best form in 2024 and has been a big factor in the Dolphins' pursuit of a maiden finals appearance.

Nikorima told SEN that negotiations are well underway and the two parties are nearing an agreement on a two-year extension.
